The inaugural session of First Services Group's Winter Warfare & Cold Weather Operations course has concluded successfully, with all participants completing the demanding 2-week program conducted in sub-zero Montana conditions.

Trainees were tested across a rigorous curriculum that included winter survival techniques, cold weather movement on snowshoes and skis, equipment maintenance in extreme cold, and tactical operations in reduced visibility conditions.

"Montana winters don't compromise, and neither does this course," said the lead instructor. "These operators proved they can fight and survive in some of the harshest conditions on the continent."

The Winter Warfare course runs annually from December through February. Registration for the next session is now open.
