Our Facility
A private Montana ranch with access to millions of acres of public land and over 300 miles of austere terrain.
Facility Statistics
Montana's Premier Training Environment
The First Services Group ranch encompasses 1,500 private acres serving as a base of operations, with direct access to millions of acres of surrounding public land and over 300 miles of off-road austere terrain. The property features a 2,200m+ sniper range and terrain spanning open meadows and rolling grasslands to forested ridgelines and steep mountain slopes — the scale and diversity of this environment is what sets our facility apart from conventional training locations.
Located in the same region where the First Special Service Force trained during World War II, our property provides unmatched conditions for realistic tactical training, UAS operations, and academic field research. Montana's remote location delivers expansive, unrestricted airspace and minimal electromagnetic interference — ideal for drone and electronic warfare programs.
Year-round operational capability means we train in every condition — from summer heat to sub-zero Montana winters. Our winter warfare program specifically leverages the demanding cold-weather conditions that characterized the original Devil's Brigade training.
