Inaugural 2025 Joint Force Training Proves FSG Is the Real Deal

Joint service elements complete advanced multi-domain exercises at the Montana facility featuring live-range qualifications, UAS qualifications, and mobility platforms.

The rounds are downrange. The drones are in the air. First Services Group's inaugural 2025 advanced training rotation with joint service elements has wrapped — and the results speak for themselves.

What began as a concept is now a proven capability. Over the course of intensive multi-week exercises, FSG hosted joint service personnel through a training pipeline that most stateside facilities simply cannot deliver. This wasn't a classroom exercise. This was live, loud, and unforgiving — exactly how it should be.

Live-range operations moved students through dynamic scenarios across Montana's unforgiving terrain, from close-quarters engagements to precision engagements at distance. Conditions mirror the operational environments these professionals will face in the field.

Advanced UAS qualifications put operators through the full spectrum of unmanned aerial systems employment — from tactical reconnaissance and target acquisition to multi-ship coordination across complex terrain. With millions of acres of unrestricted airspace, FSG's Montana facility delivered a UAS training environment that is virtually impossible to replicate anywhere else in the continental United States.

Side-by-side mobility platforms added a critical dimension to the exercise, giving teams the ability to cover ground fast across FSG's vast terrain. Operators trained on tactical vehicle movement, mounted patrol techniques, and rapid insertion across trails, creek crossings, and open country that would stop conventional vehicles cold.

"This rotation validated everything we've been building toward," said FSG leadership. "When you put joint service personnel on the same dirt, hand them real aircraft and real vehicles — and let Montana do the rest — you get training that changes the way people operate."

The 2025 inaugural rotation marks a milestone for First Services Group. The facility is operational. The capability is proven. The next generation of advanced professional training starts here.
